They’re Not Crazy: The Teenage Brain and What To Do About It
Brains do not come out fully formed as empty vessels just waiting for us in education to fill with knowledge. Brains develop over time, and some of the development that happens in adolescence drives us crazy. This workshop will go over the neuroscience and evolution of teen brain development and behavior, and how we can interact with teenagers in a way that minimizes our frustration and maximizes our effectiveness. This workshop is for educators and parents.
