This program presentation is for new teachers, veteran teachers, staff and administrators. This program provides tools that can be used immediately in the classroom as soon as teachers return to school. Mutual respect, camaraderie, team work and a true sense of belonging are a few of the positive results of incorporating the tools of the 9 Essential Skills for the Love and Logic Classroom®. This interactive presentation is facilitated by an award winning retired teacher. If we are not prepared for someone else’s initial reaction to our new skills, we have no new skills. Otherwise, they will try and perhaps succeed in making us go back to our old ways. If a student can argue with a teacher, that student will never develop respect for that teacher. If a student brings a teacher down to their level, the teacher is no longer an authority figure. Teachers do not have to be a friend, but a powerful, loving, friendly authority figure. The benefit is respect and admiration. Teachers can produce an environment that compels students to actively engage, as well as teach accountability and problem solving in a loving way.
